Farmers and Agricultural Contractors

With harvest now less that a week away it has been a busy few weeks on the farm, firstly with the arrival of our 7 harvest students set to cleaning grain stores and checking over trailers and tractors ready for the big go.
The most exciting part is the new arrivals on the farm to help with harvest being a new 18T Richard Western trailer making it the 5th one to join the fleet, also a new Fendt 724 to put on the front of it, but the main one of all is a New Holland CR9090 with 35FT varifeed header joining our current CR9090.
With the window of opportunity for harvesting getting less and less it is been very important to invest in bigger and more capacity machines. New machines with greater capacity replacing older machines in the fleet and fitting GPS to more tractors to increase work rate and lower driver fatigue.
